Altùris Cabernet Sauvignon, an Italian Friuli wine, has delicate aromas of plum, maraschino, violets and black pepper, wrapped in pleasant cocoa sensations. A pleasant and easy taste, with elegant tannins.
The grapes are carefully stripped before crushing. The must obtained in this way is fermented together with the skins at a controlled temperature, with regular pumping over to extract color and flavour. After racking, the maturation takes place in 500 liter oak barrels.
Nice wine with grilled T-bone and ribs of beef, pork carré, roasts. Great with lamb ribs.
Alturis Cabernet Sauvignon is a delicious Italian red wine from the Friuli region. This wine is made by winery Alturis from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
In the far north east of Italy, close to Venice and a short walk from Cividale del Friuli on the border with Austria and Slovenia, the Altùris vines benefit from a unique microclimate. The Julian Alps protect them from the cold winds of the north, while the wind from the Adriatic Sea softens the climate, giving the vineyards exceptional conditions to produce high quality wines.
Altùris was founded by Marco and Massimo Zorzettig, heirs of a historic family that has been a symbol of solid entrepreneurship in the wine world for three generations. The beautiful hills of Friuli are called "Altùris" in their native language. The winery is dedicated to creating unique wines, suitable for all the scents and aromas of our territorial grapes.
