Bennati Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a delicious Italian red wine from the Abruzzo region. This wine is made by Casa Vinicola Bennati from Montepulciano grapes.
Antonio Bennati was born in 1870 in Cazzano di Tramigna, just a few kilometers from Soave. "Toni Recioto", as he was called in honor of the raisin wine of that name, started at a young age producing and selling wine in the famous bottles in wicker baskets. He was followed by his son Annibale, who founded the winery Cantine Bennati in 1920.
Casa Vinicola Bennati has been a great winery for over 140 years and they tell the story of the wines of Valtramigna.
