Is a delicious French Languedoc-Roussillon wine of Château de Lancyre from France. This red wine is made from Syrah and Grenache grapes.
Recommended serving temperature between 16 ° C and 18 ° C.
Château de Lancyre is a beautiful family business with almost 80 hectares of vineyards in the most northerly appellation of the Languedoc: Pic Saint Loup. The house was founded in 1968 and is considered one of the pioneers of this special region of origin. Since 1995, the management has been in the hands of Régis Valentin, an enthusiastic winegrower.
Clos des Combes has a beautiful deep, brilliant red color with bluish tints. Smoke aromas emerge first on the nose followed by ripe cherry and garrigue herb notes of thyme and rosemary. The palate is very round, fruity, rich and full with substantial length. The tannins are very silky and round and the finish spicy and liquoricy.
Aperitif, pasta with pesto sauce, grilled ribeye steak, rabbit with mustard and St Nectaire farmhouse cheese.
