Cruz de Alba Crianza, a Spanish red wine from Ribera del Duero, has a bright, vibrant dark cherry color. In the nose you can recognize aromas of wood and tobacco, ripe red fruit and minerals. A Spanish top wine with aromas of red fruit, wood and tobacco and a soft and supple character. Well balanced and long finish, ending in notes of licorice and cherries on liqueur.
The vineyards, located in the Pagos Valdeío estate, are more than 20 years old.
During vinification, a fruity and powerful wine is obtained. The Crianza then ripens for 15 months on new oak, which gives the wine extra depth and complexity. After this, the wine rests for another 20 months before being put on the market.
This wine goes well with tapas and light snacks of smoked meat, beef carpaccio or soft cheeses.
