De Kleine Schorre Schouwen-Duiveland Rivaner is very fresh with full fruit tones as lychee, peach and pear, a glimmer of light makes this wine complete.
Due to its light sweetness and freshness, this wine blends well with the famous "Zeeuwse Zilte Zaligheden" like lobster, shrimp and crab. Certainly also spicy dishes and salads are a good combination.
De Kleine Schorre Schouwen-Duiveland Rivaner is a delicious white wine from Schouwen-Duiveland the Netherlands. This wine is made from Rivaner grapes.
Recommended wine serving temperature between 8°C and 12°C.
In 2001, Wijnhoeve De Kleine Schorre was born in Zeeland. A strict selection of grapes has been made in collaboration with the renowned Luxembourg wine company Cep d'Or. The choice of grape varieties is based on a number of criteria. One of these is that the wines must connect seamlessly with the good that Zeeland has been offering for many years, namely the Zeeuwse Zilte beatitudes. These salty delights consist of: mussels, Eastern Scheldt lobster, oysters, flatfish, sea lavender and samphire. The choice of grape varieties has therefore fallen on the Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Rivaner and Auxerrois.
Currently 54,000 vines have already been planted. The vineyard has grown to 12 hectares, making it one of the largest vineyards in the Netherlands. The cellar and the trial area are housed in the barn of the Wijnhoeve. When it is time for the harvest, the Wijnhoeve relies on volunteers to pick the grapes. The grapes are processed with the greatest care in the cellar on the site.
