Fattoria Laila Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico is a splash of pure and authentic Verdicchio from the Castelli dei Jesi area, a few kilometers inland from the Adriatico in central Italy.
The fermentation in stainless steel at low temperatures gives the wine a lot of energy. Lots of fruit from apple and citrus (lemon, lime), something from garden herbs such as fennel green and fresh almonds.
Fresh drink with a striking minerality and a typical Italian 'zesty' bitter.
This wine goes well with fish dishes that are heavily seasoned or with rabbit with olives and sage.
Fattoria Laila Verdicchio Castelli di Jesi Classico is a delicious Italian white wine from the Marche region Italy. This wine is made by winery Fattoria Laila from Verdicchio grapes.
Recommended serving temperature between 10°C and 12°C.
Podere Laila is an Italian family business owned by Chiara Libenzi and her brother Andrea since the 1950s. About 30 hectares of vineyards are cultivated, of course with mainly indigenous grape varieties such as Verdicchio, Montepulciano and Sangiovese. Good wine also starts here in the vineyard, with strict selection and manual harvest. Combine that with a lot of skill and love and it will not come as a surprise that this producer far exceeds the average in this area.
