Freemark Abbey Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep dark red in color, in smell and taste an expression of dark fruit, such as blackberries, black currants, blueberries and dark cherries framed by soft wood tones. Firm and at the same time opulent with great complexity and structure. A great wine!
The grapes come from vineyards in Oakville Reach-Oakville, Keyes-Howell Mountain, Stagecoach Vineyard-Atlas Peak, Bosché Vineyard-Rutherford, and Sycamore Vineyard-Rutherford.
The wine has matured in French oak for nine months.
Recommended with grilled red meat, lamb and game dishes or hearty cheeses.
