Ka Manciné Rossese Dolceacqua Galeae contains aromas with hints of red fruit and floral spicy notes. On the palate dry, warm, soft, fairly structured, excellent persistence, balanced, fine, fresh, with a good flavor and in its harmonious whole.
Delicious wine together with dishes of tomato, vegetables and spices. Serve cool as an aperitif. Also great with fish dishes.
Liguria is a narrow coastal strip in northern Italy that connects to the French Riviera. Grape cultivation takes place on the steep slopes of the Mediterranean Sea. It is located close to Tuscany between the Gulf of La Spezia and the Apuan Alps, only 11 kilometers from the sea as the crow flies. This creates a unique microclimate where the alternating action of the sea and the mountain breeze, depending on whether it is day or night, creates the perfect conditions for cultivating vines.
Ka Manciné Rossese Dolceacqua Galeae is a delicious Italian red wine from the Luguria region. This wine is made by winery Ka Mancine from 100 % Rossese grapes.
Maurizio Anfosso and Roberta Repaci own only three hectares of land in the Beragna and Galeae vineyards, which belong to the DOC Rossese di Dolceacqua. They are planted with Rossese, Vermentino and small amounts of the very rare Tabaca. This small and relatively unknown wine region represents the pinnacle of Ligurian viticulture.
Dolceacqua is a small town in the extreme west of Liguria, near the border with France. The native Rossese grape grows here in a small area, on steep slopes consisting of soft slate and marl. The old sticks give low yields but high quality.
