Kendall Jackson Vintners Reserve Chardonnay is a crisp, fresh, elegant white wine. Aromas of tropical fruit, such as mango and pineapple combined with aromas of peach, apple and pear. Nice balance. Lightly toasted aftertaste. The vineyards are located in three counties, namely Monterey County, Santa Barbara County and Mendocino County.
The grapes ferment and mature in French and American oak, giving the white wine more complexity and richness. The barrel aging lasts 7 months.
Climate and soil types are carefully studied per vineyard. This way the winemakers know exactly what a vineyard needs and which grape variety gives the best result on a certain surface.
Kendall-Jackson Vintner's Reserve Chardonnay is a fantastic aperitif wine, but is also delicious with rich fish dishes, smoked eel, white meat and creamy cheeses.
Kendall Jackson Vintners Reserve Chardonnay is a delicious Californian white wine of winery Kendall Jackson from California. This wine is made from Chardonnay grapes.
In 1974 Jess Jackson, in Lake County, north of Napa Valley, bought a 32-hectare orchard full of pears and walnuts. He then replaced these trees with Chardonnay vines. This was the winery Kendall-Jackson born in 1982. Jess Jackson sells his first Chardonnay wine in New York and then in Washington. From then on things go fast: new series are coming, wines win prestigious prizes and the whole of America and the rest of the world becomes familiar with Kendall-Jackson.
