Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon
Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon, a Chilean wine from Colchagua Valley, has a powerful deep red color. Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon has a pure Cabernet aroma with nuances of red and black fruit, slightly spicy touch, a hint of laurel and a refined wood touch. Fresh and supple attack, elegant flavor development with pure fruit, pleasant tannins and a surprisingly long finish.
The vineyards are located at an altitude of over 120 meters and about 40 kilometers from the Pacific Ocean. Wind from the sea tempers the heat during the summer months and the area is frost-free in winter. Due to the significant temperature differences between day and night, the grapes ripen slowly and are given every opportunity to develop their full aroma potential.
Thanks to an ultramodern climate monitoring system one is constantly aware of water management, humidity and temperature around the vines.

Vina Los Vascos
At the place where Viña Los Vascos now stands (Colchagua Valley in Central Chile), the first vines were planted 250 years ago by the Echenique family. The first French grape varieties were introduced around 1850. In 1981, the bodega was definitively named Viña Los Vascos, a tribute to the original Basque owners.
Since 1988, Los Vascos has been part of the Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), a group of wineries led by the renowned Château Lafite-Rothschild in Bordeaux. The vineyards are located at an altitude of over 120 meters and about 40 kilometers from the Pacific Ocean.
