Is a nice Spanish red Rioja wine made from Tempranillo grapes by Bodegas Marques de Riscal.
Recommended wine serving temperature between 16°C and 18°C.
In the heart of the Marqués de Riscal wine cellars, a colossal project has been brought to life with the special contribution by the Canadian architect, Frank O. Gehry. It gives shape to the cellars’ spirit – innovation and tradition are united in a single building, made using the most modern materials and constituting a true architectural landmark. Without a shadow of a doubt, the City of Wine is one of the most ambitious projects ever undertaken in Spanish wine cellars to date.
Marques de Riscal Finca Torrea, a Spanish red Rioja wine, has a cherry red colour. Intense nose, with hints of dark fruit, spices and slight toasted nuances. Elegant on the palate with good structure, round, long with a fresh, fruity finish.
This wine pairs well with all kinds of meat recipes: grills, roasts, in a mushroom casserole, or with spicy sauces. It is the perfect match for free-range chicken and pullet casserole. It can also be paired with stronger flavored fish dishes with lots of flavour and aromas, such as sea bream or cod in tomato and red pepper sauce. It is also ideal to accompany red tuna fish.
