Marqués de Riscal Rueda is a nice Spanish white Rueda wine made from Verdejo grapes by Bodegas Marques de Riscal.
Recommended wine serving temperature between 10°C and 12°C.
In the heart of the Marqués de Riscal wine cellars, a colossal project has been brought to life with the special contribution by the Canadian architect, Frank O. Gehry. It gives shape to the cellars’ spirit – innovation and tradition are united in a single building, made using the most modern materials and constituting a true architectural landmark. Without a shadow of a doubt, the City of Wine is one of the most ambitious projects ever undertaken in Spanish wine cellars to date.
Marqués de Riscal Rueda, a Spanish Rueda wine, has a bright, straw-yellow colored wine. As you expect from a Verdejo wine, on the nose it has high aromatic intensity, with tropical fruit and hints of fennel and fresh grass. In the mouth it is both syrupy smooth and refreshing, with a slightly bitter finish which is typical of the variety making it long and pleasant to drink. Overall it is a fresh, well-balanced wine.
This wine pairs well with fish, shellfish, ham, pasta dishes, chicken and cold meat.
