Sartori Corte Brà Amarone has a garnet red color. This wine has a richly varied scent with notes of port-like fruit, jam, cherry, coconut, tobacco and fine wood nuances. Velvety soft start, mouth-filling, rich and robust in taste with nuances of ripe fruit, spices, coconut and tobacco.
The grapes for this wine come from the Corte Brà winery, located in Valpolicella Classico in the hills north of Verona, with the marl soil typical of the area. After the harvest, only the finest grapes are dried for 3-4 months in special, well-ventilated drying rooms. Then a second selection follows and the best grapes are fermented. The fermentation, in stainless steel tanks, is slow and lasts at least a month. The young wine, after being drained, is transferred to concrete tanks where the apple-lactic acid fermentation takes place. Then the wine matures for 4 years in barrique and medium-sized oak barrels. After bottling, the wine matures in the bottle for at least 6 months.
Delicious with various meat dishes (fried, grilled or braised) with rich sauces, game, game poultry, stews, rich pasta dishes, mushrooms and matured cheeses.
