Discover the organic champagnes of Maison Bruno Michel.
The family vineyard covers more than 17 hectares and has no fewer than 45 plots. Half of the 35 to 75 year old vines are planted with Chardonnay and the rest with Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. Bruno Michel and his wife Catherine are based in Pierry, a few kilometers south of Epernay. The complexity and richness of the clay-limestone and calcareous soils that make up the estate ensure that very beautiful Champagnes are made here. The style is partly determined by the fact that some of the wines are aged in fine-grained oak barrels, which provides a light toast in the taste and smell.
