Le Connaisseur sells Sekt from German and Austrian wineries.
The selection of the grapes from which the Sekt Cuvée is made determines the taste and quality of this sparkling wine. Fermentation transforms the must obtained from grapes into wine. After adding sugar and pure yeast dissolved in the wine, the wines are combined to form the Cuvée brought to a second fermentation in bottles or barrels. During the second fermentation, the yeast breaks down the added sugars into alcohol and carbon dioxide.
