Domaine de Bois d'Yver

Domaine de Bois d'Yver

The vineyards of Domaine de Bois d'Yver lie on the sunny slopes of Courgis, a tiny village southwest of Chablis. The vineyards of this winery from Burgundy are planted by the owner, Georges Pico, and have an average age of 28 years. The Premier Cru Beauregard is a fine example of Georges's passionate work. His wines are distinguished several times at home and abroad. Thomas Pico is the 30-year-old son of Georges and the third generation. He is planting his own vines and saving some of his grandfather's old vines. He does this completely organic. The natural wines respect the soil and the tradition. Domaine de Bois d'Yver is certified organic.

Chablis

Chablis is the cradle of the most northern vineyards of Burgundy. Due to the grace of its prestigious wines, the "Golden Gate of Burgundy" was baptized. These vineyards cover about twenty municipalities. The bottom is stony with clay limestone. The Chardonnay grows very well on this. This is the only permitted grape for the Chablis.
