Schlumberger

Schlumberger

Domaines Schlumberger

The story begins in 1810 when Nicolas Schlumberger, owner of a textile company, buys 20 hectares of land with vines. In 1920, after 50 years of German occupation, WWI and the grape aphid crisis, Ernest Schlumberg decides to save the Guebwiller vineyard and buys 140 hectares of vines. Eric Beydon-Schlumberger replants the entire vineyard in 1970 and puts the winery on the international map. Today, two generations take care of the vineyard: Alain Beydon-Schlumberger and Thomas and Séverine Schlumberger.
