Chateau de la Fessardiere
Château de la Fessardière
The Château de la Fessardière was built in the 17th century. The property dominates the village of Turquant. Along the Loire Valley, between Anjou and Touraine, Château de la Fessardière in Turquant is at the heart of the Saumur Champigny appellation. Located between the castle of Saumur and that of Montsoreau, it is only a few leagues from the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud.
The Poitevin family welcomes you to discover the wines of the property.
Biological Loire Wine
Alexis Sauvion works very consciously and organic. She bottles the wines straight from the barrel, sur lie (the wine literally lies on its own sediment), which gives even more flavor. She makes only one wine, a wine with strength, with taste, minerals and quirky.
