A succession of rolling hills overlooking the majestic contours of Monte Amiata. It is precisely from one of these soft and sensual hills that the story of Fattoria Le Pupille begins. The farms on top of two hills have always been called Le Pupille: the pupils. For a long time there were no vineyards in Pereta. The hills that welcome the vineyards are part of the Maremma area, the southern part of Tuscany. There used to be no recognition of Maremma as an area with great wine-growing potential. Today, Fattoria Le Pupille owns 75 hectares of vineyards here, spread like mosaic pieces over many beautiful areas, producing more than 500,000 bottles every year. This wine estate therefore has an indisputable role as ambassador of the Maremma.
