Antonio Bennati was born in 1870 in Cazzano di Tramigna, just a few kilometers from Soave. "Toni Recioto", as he was called in honor of the raisin wine of that name, started ad an early age to produce and sell wine in the famous bottles in straw baskets. He was followed by his son Annibale, who in 1920 established the winery Cantine Bennati. We have been a big winery telling the story of the wines of Valtramigna for more than 140 years. In our Winery we have always believed that the key to success lies in teamwork: comparing, sharing, being loyal and being flexible as well as passionate about what we do. This key to success has now passed on to the fourth generation. Every day we focus on clear, simple objectives. Being part of a team, respecting the work of everyone, making a wine to be proud of and to honor the name of a winery that is an essential part of our life. Everything else comes in second places. Bennati is continuing its centuries-old path of growth. The fourth generation, consisting of the brothers Giorgio and Paolo and their cousin Claudio, is paying homage to Valtramigna with a project that entails the limited production of superior quality wines, which through their bouquets, aromas and flavors speak of this land and its history. The art of winemaking is a journey that offers unique sensations, taking you to timeless places: it is the privilege of creating emotions. And only a great team can do this.
