Shiraz

Shiraz

Australian Shiraz, also known as Syrah, is one of the most popular grape varieties in Australia and is grown in several wine regions across the country. It is a full-bodied red wine that is known for its dark fruit flavors, such as blackberry and plum, as well as spicy notes, such as black pepper and licorice.

Australian Shiraz can also have a range of other flavors, such as chocolate, vanilla, and tobacco. The wine is often aged in oak barrels, which can add additional flavors of vanilla and spice.

Some of the most well-known regions for producing Australian Shiraz include the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, and Hunter Valley.
