Beni di Batasiolo

The company Beni di Batasiolo is located not far from the truffle center Alba (Piedmont) in the town of La Morra. Connoisseurs know that we are dealing here with the largest owner of Barolo vineyards. 'Beni' is therefore a Piedmontese designation for property, land or vineyard.

In 1978, the Dogliani brothers bought the historic Kiola winery in La Morra. It was founded in 1950 and consists of seven companies with vineyards located in the most famous villages in the region. With the addition of this large winery and its own grounds, the total estate now consists of 9 farms and 264 hectares of vineyards. Of this, 150 hectares are planted with the most important locally grown grape: Nebbiolo. The famous Barolo wine is made from this grape.

High quality wines

Due to this large area of vineyards, Batasiolo has the opportunity to produce a complete range of high-quality Piedmontese wines, ranging from classic reds (Barolo, Barbera, Dolcetto) to delicate whites and the well-known sparkling Moscato d'Asti.
