Azienda Agricola Negretti includes 13 hectares of vineyards in La Morra, Monforte d'Alba and Roddi. The wines are made exclusively from home-grown grapes.
Respect for the vineyard is the motto here. The emphasis at Negretti is on work in and on the vineyards, only 10% is spent on the cellar. Extensive care throughout the year and a green harvest results in extremely low yields, with a percentage of excess fruit being cut away between the end of June and the end of July. All grapes are picked by hand and carefully handled in small boxes. Naturally, the unfiltered wines are made and aged in an immaculately clean cellar.
The Negretti wine trophy cabinet shows the international appreciation for their great Nebbiolo wines. The Barolos have been awarded time and again.
