Bellingham Winery

Bellingham is a South African winery located in Franschhoek, Western Cape. The winery was founded in 1693 and is one of the oldest in the country. It is known for its wide range of wines, including reds, whites, rosés and fortified wines.

Bellingham has several vineyards that are farmed sustainably and the winery uses traditional and modern techniques to produce high quality wines. Some of the most popular wines from Bellingham include the Bernard Series, which includes a Chenin Blanc, a Viognier, and a Syrah, as well as the Homestead Range, which includes a Sauvignon Blanc and a Shiraz.

At Bellingham, winemaking is based on so-called minimal intervention. They want to make a natural product with as few interventions as possible in the vinification cellar. They combine ancient methods with contemporary technical feats to make quality wines that reflect the grape and the terroir.
