Stellenbosch Vineyards is a winery located in Stellenbosch, South Africa. It was originally established in 1922 as part of a cooperative, and has since been acquired by the businessman Hans-Joachim Schreiber in 2006. Today, the winery is known for producing a wide range of wines, including red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines.
The winery's vineyards are located in the heart of the Stellenbosch wine region, with a total of 50 hectares under cultivation. The vineyards are planted with a variety of grape varietals, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Pinotage, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chenin Blanc. The grapes are hand-harvested and sorted before being fermented and aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels.
