Is an Australian white wine from the Adelaide region, This white wine is made from Chardonnay grapes.
The Aboriginal name "Wirra Wirra" means "between the gum trees". The wines of founder Bob Wigley, in particular the syrah, were in great demand in London. The wines have been exported all over the world for more than 100 years. In 1936 most of the vineyards were sold by the family and the wine cellars fell into disuse. In 1969, Greg and Roger bought Trott, the dilapidated winery and some surrounding terrain. The two full cousins brought their own vineyards to the new company and started making wine, helped warmly by the local wine producers.
This white wine has a light straw yellow color with green hues. A fruity nose with fresh figs, honey melon and nectarines. In the background, a subtle creaminess and minerality obtained by natural fermentation and regular stirring of the "read" (fine sediment) during the upbringing in stainless steel tanks. Mouth filled with fresh melon and citrus flavors, well balanced by the creamy texture and refreshing acidity.
A delicious wine that pairs well with fish dishes
