Lustau Reserva Fino Jarana has a sparkling yellow color. It has a delicate, salty scent with almond nuances and a spicy touch. Tight dry, full, clean, elegant taste with an excellent aftertaste.
Use a wine cooler filled with ice cubes and water so that the temperature of the wine remains constant between 6º and 8º C.
Fino is an ideal aperitif wine and pairs well with all types of tapas but exceptionally well with olives, nuts (almonds) and Iberian ham. It is also the perfect companion for fish and shellfish. Exceptionally good combinations are with salty fish (anchovies) but also with "raw" fish dishes such as sashimi.
Lustau Reserva Fino Jarana is a delicious sherry from the Andalusia region of Spain. This sherry is made from Palomino grapes by Bodegas Lustau.
Bodegas Lustau was founded in 1896. It started as a small house that only produced sherries and then sold it to large export companies in the area. In 1950, after a few moves and expansions, Lustau was big enough to handle the export itself. In the 1980s, the house became known as one of the most innovative houses in Jerez. Despite the enormous growth that the company has experienced, the philosophy has always remained the same: Pursuing the highest possible quality sherry in the widest possible portfolio.
Fino is a dry wine made from the palomino grape, just like the Manzanilla, with a maturation under a yeast layer, called the "flor". It is stored and aged in American oak barrels and uses the traditional solera y criaderas system in the bodegas of Jerez de la Frontera and El Puerto de Santa Maria.
