Sella Mosca is located near Alghero, in the northwest of Sardinia. The climate is very suitable for viticulture. It is Mediterranean, with a big difference between day and night temperatures. The northern part of the vineyard has a soil of volcanic origin. To the south are predominantly calcareous and sandy soils with varying iron content. The cellars of Sella Mosca are ultra-modern.
Sella Mosca was named wine producer of the year in the Gambero Rosso guide 'Italian Wines 2013'. A special honor for the wine producer who has contributed to putting Sardinia on the map with his wines. The Gambero Rosso is the most famous wine guide in Italy.
