Bodega Santa Cruz de Alpera

Bodega Santa Cruz de Alpera is a winery located in the region of Almansa, in southeastern Spain. The winery was founded in 1962 and is known for producing high-quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of the area.

The winery owns over 500 hectares of vineyards, which are planted with a variety of grape varietals, including Garnacha Tintorera, Monastrell, and Syrah. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 750-900 meters and are planted on soils that are rich in limestone and other minerals.

Santa Cruz de Alpera produces a range of wines, including their flagship wine, the Santa Cruz de Alpera Tinto. This wine is made from a blend of Garnacha Tintorera, Monastrell, and Syrah grapes and is aged in oak barrels for 12 months. The wine is known for its deep red color, intense aromas of red fruit and spices, and its full-bodied and well-structured palate.

In addition to their Tinto wine, Santa Cruz de Alpera also produces a range of other wines, including white wines made from Macabeo and Sauvignon Blanc grapes and rosé wines made from Garnacha Tintorera and Tempranillo grapes. These wines are all made from carefully selected grapes and are aged in oak barrels for varying lengths of time.

Santa Cruz de Alpera is committed to sustainable winemaking practices, and they have implemented a number of initiatives to reduce their environmental impact, including the use of renewable energy sources and the implementation of organic farming practices.
