Azienda Vinicola iLauri

Azienda Vinicola iLauri is an Italian winery located in the region of Abruzzo, near the town of Pescara. The winery was founded in 1995 by the Di Giulio family, who have been making wine for generations. The family is committed to producing high-quality wines while maintaining a deep respect for the local terroir and tradition.

The winery focuses on growing indigenous grape varieties such as Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Pecorino, and Trebbiano. The vineyards are located in the hills of Pescara and Chieti, at an altitude of 200-300 meters above sea level. The soils are rich in clay and limestone, which gives the wines a mineral character.

iLauri produces a range of red, white, and rosé wines, including Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, and Pecorino. Their flagship wine is the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva, which is made from grapes grown in the best vineyards and aged in oak barrels for 18-24 months. This wine is full-bodied, with notes of black cherry, plum, and spice.

The winery is committed to sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. They use natural fertilizers, cover crops, and integrated pest management to reduce their impact on the environment. The winery also has a solar power system that provides 90% of their energy needs.
