Domaine de la Croix Senaillet

Domaine de la Croix Senaillet is a family-owned winery located in the village of Davayé in the Mâcon wine region of Burgundy, France. The estate was founded in 1928 and is now run by the third generation of the family.

The winery has around 25 hectares (62 acres) of vineyards, planted primarily with Chardonnay grapes. The vineyards are located in several different appellations, including Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran, and Mâcon-Villages. The winery practices sustainable farming methods, including the use of cover crops, minimal use of pesticides, and hand harvesting.

The winemaking at Domaine de la Croix Senaillet is based on traditional techniques, with a focus on expressing the unique terroir of each of its vineyards. The grapes are carefully sorted before being gently pressed, and the juice is then fermented in oak barrels, where it undergoes malolactic fermentation and aging. The winery uses a combination of new and used barrels to achieve the desired balance of oak flavor and fruit expression in the finished wines.

The wines of Domaine de la Croix Senaillet are known for their elegance, minerality, and balance, with a focus on expressing the unique character of each vintage and vineyard. The winery's wines have been recognized with numerous awards and high ratings from wine critics and publications around the world.
