Domaine Fabrice Gasnier

Domaine Fabrice Gasnier is an established winery in the Loire Valley, located in the heart of the famous Chinon appellation. Led by passionate winemaker Fabrice Gasnier, the estate is known for its commitment to organic and biodynamic farming methods, which result in wines that are both pure and expressive of their terroir.

Gasnier owns a total of 28 hectares of vineyards, planted with Cabernet Franc and a small amount of Chenin Blanc. The vines are of average age and are rooted in calcareous clay soil, which gives the wines unique minerality and finesse.

Fabrice is an avid supporter of organic and biodynamic practices. He avoids the use of synthetic pesticides and herbicides, choosing to promote biodiversity in the vineyards by using natural cover crops and composting. Biodynamics also plays an important role in his philosophy, using moon phases and cosmic rhythms to guide the winemaking process.
