Château Soucherie

Château Soucherie is a wine estate in the French Loire Valley, located in the commune of Beaulieu-sur-Layon. The castle dates from the 18th century and is surrounded by 28 hectares of vineyards.

The domain is owned by the Beguinot family, who took over in 2007. Since then they have invested heavily in the vineyards and winery. The wines of Château Soucherie are now appreciated by wine lovers all over the world.

The vineyards of Château Soucherie are located on calcareous clay soil with stones. This terroir is ideal for the cultivation of Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc, the two grape varieties grown on the estate.
