Viña San Pedro is the name of the wine company founded in Molina in 1865 by the brothers Bonifacio and José Gregorio Correa Albano. They are the fifth generation. Viña San Pedro is part of the VSPT wine group. The company is one of the largest and oldest exporters of Chilean wine. They produced their first wines with local grape varieties. These were later replaced by noble vines from southern France and Germany.
In fact, they start viticulture in Curicó Valley. They have one of the most extensive vineyards in all of Latin America at 1200 hectares. The main vineyard of San Pedro, the wine cellar and the hundred-year-old underground Cava cellar are located in Molina in the Curicó valley, 200 kilometers south of Santiago. The 1865 Single Vineyard and the 1865 Limited Edition pay tribute to the wine company's founding 150 years ago. The grapes for these wines come from special plots with old vines. For each variety, the vineyard is selected in which not only the soil but also the climatic conditions for the grape variety are most optimal.
