From 1970 until a few years ago Château Miraval was owned by Jacques Loussier, a passionate wine lover and well-known jazz pianist who has made music recordings of Pink Floyd, Sting and Sade in his Miraval studio.
Miraval wine cellars
The wine cellar dates from the nineteenth century, with the wooden barrels currently resting in the cellar of the renovated farmhouse. The vineyards surrounding the villa are located on the slope at an altitude of 350 meters. The Miraval wines have an excellent quality and are elegant and refined.
