Domaine Larue

Domaine Larue is a winery in Burgundy, France. It is a family business that has been in the hands of the Larue family since 1946. The winery is located in the village of Gamay, a hamlet northeast of Saint-Aubin, in the Côte de Beaune.

The vineyards are on the good side of Saint-Aubin, namely on the side of Chassagne and Puligny Montrachet. In addition to Saint-Aubin, the domaine also produces wines from Chassagne and Puligny Montrachet, appellations that appeal more to the imagination, because the best white wines in the world are made there.

The family has owned vineyards for several generations, but Didier and Denis have decided to start bottling themselves. In a short time they have acquired a very good reputation with an honest, pure, terroir-oriented style at relatively good prices. H

The vineyard management is conscientious: short pruning and green harvesting take place, so that the yield per hectare is low. Few pesticides are used and the crops are picked by hand.
