Bodegas Valtea

Bodegas Valtea is a winery located in the Rías Baixas region of Spain, known for producing high-quality Albariño wines. The winery was founded in 1997 by Francisco Javier Paz, who comes from a long line of winemakers.

The winery owns over 12 hectares of vineyards, which are located in the Salnés Valley, one of the most prestigious sub-regions of Rías Baixas. The vineyards are planted with Albariño grapes, which are carefully tended to throughout the growing season to ensure the best possible fruit quality.

Bodegas Valtea produces a range of Albariño wines, including their flagship wine, the Valtea Albariño. This wine is made from 100% Albariño grapes and is known for its crisp acidity, minerality, and bright citrus and tropical fruit flavors.

In addition to their Valtea Albariño, the winery also produces a Valtea Rosal wine, which is a blend of Albariño, Loureira, and Caiño Blanco grapes. This wine is known for its floral aromas, crisp acidity, and notes of stone fruit and citrus.

Bodegas Valtea is committed to sustainable winemaking practices, and they use a variety of techniques to reduce their environmental impact. These include organic farming practices, the use of cover crops, and the use of renewable energy sources.
