Winery Giacomo Fenocchio has been headed by Claudio Fenocchio since 1989. He then took over the family domain from his suddenly deceased father. He has continued to work in the traditional Barolo style, as have the four generations of Fenocchio before him. The Fenocchios live and work on the upper part of the Bussia (Bussia Soprana) vineyard, in the geographical heart of the Barolo appellation. They also have quite a few plots on this illustrious orchard. They also have some vineyards in the Crus Castellero and Villero, a beautiful plot on Upper Cru Cannubi, and some beautiful plots in Roero (for the white Arneis).
