Dominio Otero

Dominio de Otero is a Spanish winery located in the heart of the Ribera del Duero wine region, known for producing high-quality red wines that reflect the unique terroir of the area. The winery was founded in 2006 by the Otero family, who have a long history in the wine industry.

The winery owns over 50 hectares of vineyards, which are planted with a variety of grape varietals, including Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 800-900 meters and are planted on soils that are rich in limestone and other minerals.

Dominio de Otero produces a range of wines, including their flagship wine, the Dominio de Otero Crianza. This wine is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes and is aged in French and American oak barrels for 12 months. The wine is known for its aromas of black fruit, vanilla, and spices, as well as its full-bodied and well-structured palate.

In addition to their Crianza wine, Dominio de Otero also produces a range of other wines, including the Dominio de Otero Roble, a red wine made from Tempranillo grapes aged in oak barrels for 6 months, and the Dominio de Otero Reserva, a red wine made from a blend of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot grapes aged in oak barrels for 18 months.

Dominio de Otero is committed to sustainable winemaking practices and has implemented a number of initiatives to reduce their environmental impact, including the use of renewable energy sources and the implementation of organic farming practices.
