Alto Adige or Südtirol is located in the most northern part of Italy at the foot of the Dolomites and takes its Italian name from the river Adige (Etsch). In the south it borders on Trentino. Most of the vineyards are on relatively high elevation slopes ranging between 250 and 1000 meters above sea level. These slopes are often so steep that the vineyards are laid out in terraces.
We sell Alto Adige wines from the following wineries: Alois Lageder, Peter Zemmer, Kellerei Bozen or Cantina Bolzano, Kuenhof, Peter Zemmer, St. Michael Eppan and Kellerei Kaltern.
