Montes Alpha M is a blend of several grape varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The exact composition of the blend may vary depending on the harvest year. The wine is produced with grapes sourced from the best vineyards of Montes in the Colchagua Valley and other select regions in Chile. The focus is on creating a wine with elegance, complexity and excellent aging potential.

Montes Alpha M usually has a deep, intense color in the glass. The bouquet is complex and seductive, with aromas of ripe dark fruit, such as blackberries and black currants, combined with nuances of spices, cedar, chocolate and tobacco. On the palate, Montes Alpha M reveals a full body with silky tannins. The taste is rich and concentrated, with a perfect balance between fruity notes, spices, oak and mineral elements. The wine has a long and elegant finish.

Montes Alpha M is considered one of Montes Winery's flagship wines and is often highly regarded by wine aficionados and critics worldwide. It is a wine suitable for special occasions and can age well in the bottle, further developing the complexity and depth of the wine.

The vineyards are located on the higher slopes of Apalta valley in one of the best microclimates. The soil is poor with limited organic matter. Due to its location, the grapes ripen perfectly and keep fresh fruitiness due to the cooling wind from the Andes mountains.

The grapes are harvested manually. After a careful selection of only the best fruit, the wine is traditionally made. The wine is aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels. Decantation is desired.
