Dehesa La Granja

Dehesa La Granja is a wine produced by Grupo Pesquera, the winery founded by Alejandro Fernández, in the Castilla y León region of Spain. It is a wine known for its excellent quality and expression of the Tempranillo grape. Dehesa La Granja is produced in the Zamora region, located in the west of Spain. The winery has planted vineyards there at an altitude of about 700 meters above sea level. The region has a continental climate with cold winters and hot summers, which contributes to the ripening and concentration of the grapes.

The wine is mainly made from the Tempranillo grape, also called Tinto Fino in this region. Dehesa La Granja has undergone aging in wooden barrels, which gives it a certain complexity and structure.

Dehesa La Granja usually has a deep cherry red color and offers aromas of ripe red and black fruit, such as berries and plums, with notes of vanilla and spices from the wood. It has a good balance between fruitiness, tannins and acidity.

The wine is appreciated for its accessibility and smoothness. It is a wine that can be drunk relatively young, but also has the potential to mature and develop further in the bottle.

Dehesa La Granja is an excellent choice to combine with grilled meats, stews, hard cheeses and various Spanish dishes.
