Château Miraval Rosé, a French rosé wine, is an elegant rosé from Provence with white fruit aromas, strawberries and scents of roses. Pure flavors of dried red berries and mandarin with spices in the finish. Fresh acidity, minerals and a delicate taste. This rosé is made from a blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah and Rolle grapes.
The grapes are harvested early in the morning to keep them cool and fresh. After arrival in the wine cellar, they are checked twice for lesser grapes and other irregularities. After de-stalking, the cinsault, grenache and rolle are gently pressed. The 'saignée' method is used for the syrah grapes: the grapes are crushed and given a short soaking together with the juice, after which the juice runs off and is further fermented. 95% of the wine is aged in refrigerated stainless steel tanks. 5% goes into barrel with the yeast sediment, where the yeast is regularly stirred ('bâtonnage').
A delicious wine that goes well with Mediterranean snacks, Asian dishes, young vegetable salad, crab, fresh tuna and vegetable pie.

Château Miraval is located in the heart of Provence, near the ancient town of Correns, about 60 kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea. In the summer it is Mediterranean warm during the day, but it cools down well at night. The domain covers a valley with a wealth of flora and fauna, olive trees and of course the vineyards. It is very rare for an entire valley to belong to one domain; the estate extends over seven kilometers in length and covers a total of 500 hectares.
At Château Miraval, a special collaboration takes place between Brad Pitt, the owner of the Chateau, and the famous Perrin wine family. This partnership came about in 2012 when Brad Pitt was brought into contact with Marc Perrin in his search for a wine consultant. The Perrin family, known for Beaucastel in Chateauneuf de Pape and Chateau Des Tourelles in Gigondas, had been looking for a top domain in the Côte de Provence for years and seized this opportunity to become co-owner of one of the most historic domains in the region.
