French Sud-Ouest wines

The Sud-Ouest, or South West, wine region of France is known for its diverse range of wines, produced in a wide area that includes the regions of Bergerac, Cahors, Gaillac, Jurançon, Madiran and others.

Bergerac is known for its red and white wines, which are made from grape varieties such as Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc. The red wines are full bodied, with aromas of black fruit, spices and tobacco, while the white wines are fresh, with aromas of citrus and tropical fruit.

Cahors is known for its deep and robust red wines, mainly made from the Malbec grape variety. These wines are full-bodied, with aromas of blackberries, black cherries and spices.
