Pieropan Le Colombare Recioto di Soave is intense gold, almost amber colored. In the nose, subtle memories of exotic fruit and apricots. On the palate the attack is refined, round and sweet, followed by an unexpected aromatic complexity. The semi-dried grapes are pressed at the beginning of spring. After fermentation, the young wine is raised for two years in large barrels of oak. The result is a special wine with an excellent balance between acid, alcohol and residual sugar.
Classic with almond pastries and almond cookies, highly recommended with creamy, spicy blue cheeses (gorgonzola) or ripe (semi) hard cheeses. Also excellent as lounge or after dinner wine.

Pieropan Le Colombare Recioto di Soave is a delicious Italian sweet wine from the Veneto region. This wine is made by winery Pieropan from Garganega grapes.
The Pieropan business was founded in 1880 in the heart of the medieval village of Soave, in the historic Palazzo Pullici. Four generations marked the history of the company, each with their own contributions which varied according to the times, knowledge and entrepreneurial attitude. The wine business started with Leonildo, physician of Soave, who was driven by knowledge in biology and chemistry and began working in the family vineyards and whose work in the cellars was carried on by his sons, Fausto and Gustavo who worked with infinite passion.
