Is a delicious Italian red wine from the Veneto region. This wine is made by winery Pieropan from Corvina and Rondinella grapes.
The Pieropan business was founded in 1880 in the heart of the medieval village of Soave, in the historic Palazzo Pullici. Four generations marked the history of the company, each with their own contributions which varied according to the times, knowledge and entrepreneurial attitude. The wine business started with Leonildo, physician of Soave, who was driven by knowledge in biology and chemistry and began working in the family vineyards and whose work in the cellars was carried on by his sons, Fausto and Gustavo who worked with infinite passion.
This Italian red wine was launched in 2003 from grapes grown on vineyards in Cellore d’Illasi, on the slopes of mount Garzon, 500 meter above sea level. The new winery is in the famous Villa Cipolla Pieropan in Tregnago Verona. The name Ruberpan comes from the Latin, ‘Ruber’ which means ruby red, and Pan from the Pieropan family.
Perfect with starters such as stuffed pasta, or tomato sauces, particularly good with roast poultry, grilled meat, game birds and mature cheese.
